Until 4 March 2025, contractors can submit their bids for the design and construction of a new bus depot in Stalowa Wola.

- The qualitative metamorphosis of public transport in Stalowa Wola places us among the pioneers of ecological solutions, free zero-emission transport and building a modern city. The transfer of the bus depot to the industrial zone is a model solution that will eliminate the technical traffic of the MZK service in the city centre and free up attractive plots of land for housing development," said Lucjusz Nadbereżny, Mayor of Stalowa Wola.

Within the framework of the investment in question, the selected contractor will design and build, among other things, a service building for the station, i.e. a The selected contractor will design and build, among other things, a service building for the station, i.e. a repair building with a washing station and technical equipment for buses, together with social facilities for the technical staff, an administrative building, a hardened manoeuvring area, two bus shelters - a total of 46 stands (including 2 with chargers of2x80 kW each for electric buses with the possibility of expanding to 40 fast charging stations in the near future), a shelter for hazardous and technological waste, a boiler house for heating oil, an underground tank for heating oil with a capacity of min. min. 20m3, 2 underground rainwater tanks with a capacity of max. up to 10m3 (for domestic purposes - watering plants), fencing of the depot area with automatic gates and barriers at the main entrance to the depot area and at the exit, parking (60 spaces) for cars for the employees of the depot and spaces for motorcycles.
