The Historical Café invites you on 12 February, theme: Stalowa Wola balls. Carnival is in progress, so there will be a carnival atmosphere in the Kafejka. Some of the Stalowa Wola balls of the past have passed into legend.

We even have a short film about the old New Year's Eve parties in our city, which we will watch together. But it was not only New Year's Eve balls that went down in the memories of older Stalowa Wola residents. There were parties at the house of culture, when the ringleader, brought in from Olsztyn, performed in the costume of a maharaja, and the dance floor was ruled by... the Warsaw Mermaid! And we are by no means talking about a car! What's more: the Mermaid of the time has announced her attendance at the next Café to share her memories of those years.

We hope that other dancefloor queens and kings of the past will also take a look at our Café on 12 February. We would love to hear your carnival memories. And younger visitors will be able to compare their games with the balls of previous generations. We would like to invite everyone interested in the history of the region to a meeting on Wednesday 12 February at 5.30 p.m. in the Main Library (10 Fr J. Popiełuszki St.), room on the second floor. Although no dancing is planned, there will be coffee and biscuits. Admission is free.
