On 16 January 2020, the Association of the Third Age University in Stalowa Wola was registered, which is a continuation of the Third Age University operating at the Municipal Cultural Centre. On the occasion of its 5th anniversary, anniversary celebrations were held at the association's headquarters - the Senior Activity Centre in Stalowa Wola. The president of the association, Ewa Boguń, was congratulated on her very active work and wished her further excellent development. Participants watched a presentation summarising the association's activities to date and admired a colourful artistic performance.

-The activities of the Association of the University of the Third Age demonstrate your incredible energy, efficiency, skills and how important it is to organise yourselves and create a programme of activities. It is you who feel best what the needs are, what the expectations of seniors are, "what is in your souls", and what needs to be done to activate the senior community," said Lucjusz Nadbereżny, Mayor of Stalowa Wola, during the jubilee.

The Association of the University of the Third Age conducts statutory activities for the benefit of its members and public activities for people of various ages.The zone of public activities includes, among others.among others: maintenance and dissemination of national tradition and cultivation of Polishness and development of national awareness, protection and promotion of health, promotion of culture, art, protection of cultural assets and national heritage, activities for people of retirement age, popularisation of tourism andsightseeing, supporting and disseminating physical culture and sport, promoting volunteerism and activities in this area, activity supporting the development of local communities and society, supporting personal development, intellectual and mental fitness of seniors, and promoting the town of Stalowa Wola.

The Association pursues its objectives, among others, by The Association pursues its objectives, inter alia, through activities disseminating the idea of "lifelong learning" and supporting social development, volunteering, cultural education and health care, organisation of lectures, workshops, exercises, demonstrations and other forms of lifelong learning, joint trips to the theatre, outings to the cinema, activation of its members by conducting physical culture activities and activities in the field of health care.through physical culture and recreation activities, organising integration and sightseeing tours and activities supporting intergenerational integration

The Third Age University Association has 128 ordinary members plus one honorary member - Bogna Latawiec, the director of the CAS in Stalowa Wola.
